MADT: Make A Difference Month

Do you know that some kids first meal of the day is lunch from the school cafeteria?  Also, there are keiki that don’t have school supplies, such as binders, pencils, erasers, and crayons. In addition, some youngsters do not have soap to take a bath or a toothbrush to brush their teeth.  I realized  that we take our everyday things for granted so we should help the kids in need.  This is why we have the “Make a Difference Month” in October.

“It feels good to help out the school."

SethH, a member Make A Difference

Mr. Nieva said “I feel that the Make a Difference Team is a truly wonderful and magnificent team to be a part of.  It helps students to think about others  and how they can "Make a Difference" in someone's life or to "Make a Difference" in our school.  The students that join really learn how to work together with others, think about tasks and ideas during the school year, and ultimately, think of ways to "Make a Difference" for it's students’

We want everyone to help out (this is 100% optional).  Also, everything you give will change someone’s life. You can change a person’s life a little more happy by donating things that they might not have and that can make them smile.
