On September 5, 2017 comedian, Frank DeLima, came to our school to talk to the students and teachers about staying healthy. At the Momilani Elementary School Cafeteria we had an assembly on September 5, 2017. Comedian, Frank DeLima, comes to our school every year to talk to the students. This year's theme was  “Be Kind, Be Healthy, and Focus and Do Well in School.”

Uncle Frank sang his version of popular pop songs to the students. One was of his version of “That’s What I Like” by Bruno Mars. Another was “All About that Bass” by Meghan Trainor. He took the songs and incorporated his theme into them. He sang us his “Sumo” song and the song he wrote about Marcus Mariota and how he stayed healthy. He told the students about his diabetes and how the doctor told him to treat it. Uncle Frank told the students that “Momilani is a school full of Aloha.” and he wants us to keep it that way. To sum it all up, he sang his version of “How Far I’ll Go” from the movie Moana.

Uncle Frank taught us his message which was “ Be Kind, Be Healthy, Focus and Do Well in School.” which he taught through singing songs that will entertain children.
