Reflection of My Momilani Years

It’s 2018, the end of another year, and that means another 6th grade class will be making their fond exit. On behalf of the 6th grade class, we would like to create a thank you letter to everyone at Momilani who has supported us along our wild journey.

First and foremost, we would like to thank our teachers for nurturing us into the great students we are today. They have taught us lots of important things that we will take with us throughout our entire lives.  They believed in us and have hope in everything we do and will do in the near future. We could have never asked for better teachers than the ones we were lucky enough to have. Thank you for all you have done for us!

Secondly, we would like to thank our principal and vice principal. They have built this great school from the bottom up and have guided us when times were rough. They have given us our amazing laptops that we use to learn more things from our teachers. They have provided us with the equipment required for us to learn as much as we can. They have guided us throughout our school years, always standing there in the morning to greet the students.

Last but not least, we would like to thank the students. Why the students? Because they have stuck with us until the very end. Some have been here since Kindergarten and some have been here since the beginning of this school year. But no matter what, they have helped us the most. They are the first ones we go to for help. They are the ones that know us the most. They are the ones that have been there when we needed them, providing us with the support we needed.

We’re sad that we are leaving this great school behind, but happy that a new part of our lives is about to start. We will never forget this school and everything the gracious people in it have done for us. The 59 students in the graduating class will be attending many different schools, but we will never forget that we will always have each other. While many of us are sad to be leaving our friends and teachers, we would just like to say, thank you to Momilani and its people.
