Momilani Foundation

Mission Statement:

To enhance the physical, social and emotional well being of children in order to optimize their ability to learn and grow, by providing safe and appropriate equipment and environments for children to explore and develop.

 

Join the Foundation!

The Momilani Elementary School Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established by parents to support the students of Momilani Elementary School.  The Foundation raises money to improve the educational experience of all students at Momilani.  To date, the Foundation has purchased and installed playground equipment on the upper playground; worked with the Pearl City Rotary Club to purchase and install the covered walkway connecting the school’s cafeteria with the classrooms; purchased laptop computers, a projector system for the computer lab and wireless router systems; provided 6th graders with memory books & graduation slide show DVD; funded the installation of air conditioners (some donated from Carrier Hawaii) for the library, administration building, computer lab and all the classrooms; funded the upgrade of the cafeteria microphone sound system and purchased the Momilani School Welcome Sign.

 

The Foundation’s success relies heavily on volunteer parents to make things happen.  As such, the Foundation NEEDS YOU!  We welcome your getting involved with an organization that is dedicated to making your child’s experience at Momilani a rewarding one.

 

We are a group of parents who meet regularly and informally to discuss fundraising opportunities and new ways to help improve our childrens’ learning environment.  Our primary fundraiser is the annual Bubbies Mochi Ice Cream sale in November.  With the gracious support of Bubbies, the Foundation is able to raise substantial funds to be used toward improving the quality of education for our students.
